Phil Noto studied illustration at Ringling School of Art and Design. After 10 years at Walt Disney Animation working on films such as Lion King,Pocahontas, Mulan and Lilo and Stitch, Phil left 2D animation ship and became a comic artist. He started at DC Comics doing covers for the Birds of Prey series and has since worked on Batgirl, Superman, Danger Girl, Beautiful Killer, Hellboy, Buffy, The Infinite Horizon, Avengers, X-23, Wolverine and Jubilee, X-Force, Thunderbolts, Star Wars: Poe Dameron and Daredevil. Phil will take over art chores on the Star Wars title with issue #68 in July. He also does large scale gallery paintings and has had solo shows at Bold Hype Galllery NYC, Stranger Factory- Albuquerque, NM, Secret Headquarters – Los Angeles and Galerie Petits Papiers – Paris.
