Dear Granitecon Fans,
After much discussion we have decided to cancel the 2020 Granite State Comicon. Earlier in the year as the COVID-19 pandemic started we had hoped that things would improve with the virus by the fall so we could still host our event but it has become apparent that won’t be the case. This was a very difficult decision for us to make but even with safety protocols in place we couldn’t risk any of our fans and exhibitors getting sick. The only responsible thing to do would be to cancel 2020 and move on to planning 2021.
While it won’t be quite the same, we are assembling a virtual Granitecon to be held on Saturday September 19th. We’ll have special guests, costume contests, panels and more! And admission is FREE, so save the date!
The 2021 Granite State Comicon will be held on September 18th and 19th. We will be working overtime to make that event truly special, so keep your ears and eyes open for details!
Vendors & Artists your reservations will be rolled over to 2021. if you require a refund please contact Scott directly. If you purchased tickets for this year’s event they will be rolled over to 2021, or you can contact us for a refund by June 30th.
So until we can get together again and celebrate the comics and pop culture we love; please stay safe, wash your hands, and be a hero by wearing your mask to help stop the further spread of COVID-19! We will miss you all this year and can’t wait to see you all in 2021!
Best,
The Granite State Comicon Management Team and Staff
