“On my first day with the Public Works Department (Keene, NH), I arrived to a mountain of recyclables being hand-sorted with no headway in sight. I’ve since turned my passion for recycling trash into creating a nationally recognized facility in Southwestern NH.

In my debut book, “Everyone’s Trash,” I tackle the startling fact that all Americans discard about five pounds of waste each day. For me, every bit of that daily 1.6 billion pounds has a story. With humor, stories, and statistics, my book aims to show that recycling is a community affair.”
