Emily Drouin is a professional illustrator of comics, children’s books, character design, animation, video editing, graphic design, member of the National Cartoonists Society, the SCBWI, art educator, founder & owner of Kids Con New England – the region’s first, largest, and favorite comic con for kids, with events in NH & ME. Kids Con promotes art education and literacy through comics, children’s books, workshops, gaming, and fun activities that inspire creativity and learning.
In spring 2020, Emily organized, animated and ran the first two-day online comic con for kids, Kids Con Online, featuring creators from across the country! She enjoys teaching cartooning, animating, making cosplays to wear at comic cons, as well as drawing all things cute!
Emily earned her BA in Graphic Design from Keene State College, studied art at the NH Institute of Art, the Currier Museum of Art Center, interned at Disney, as well as won several art awards. She’s provided character designs, concept art and visual development for Nickelodeon and Netflix Animation.

Her work has been featured on TV, podcasts, magazines, and news articles, including Bleeding Cool, Boston Globe, PBS, WMUR News, NH Chronicle, NH Magazine, News Center Maine, Parenting NH, Business NH, MyM Magazine, Union Leader, Hippo Press, Fanboy, Kids Love Comics, museums, comic cons and more.
Emily is available for art commissions, creative projects, teaching art & creative workshops at conventions, schools, and public appearances.
